Fiona Barry, the founder of Wigwam Design, teaches Interior Design at a number of colleges within the Sydney area.
Her range of Courses and Workshops are diverse and are aimed to help you, as adults, to learn new skills which can be confidently implemented into your own spaces.
All courses and workshops are also available as private tuition and to familiarise staff who work within the interiors and homewares industry.

Interior Design – The Basics
“Create Your Mood, Find Your Style”
This introductory course is for everyone who is planning to redecorate or simply refresh a living space or a complete property.
8 weeks (20 hours total).
Interior Design – Colour Foundations and Design Principles
This course is for anyone who has a basic theoretical knowledge of colour and design and wishes to develop their skills and knowledge and apply it to their home.
8 weeks (24 hours total).
Property Styling for Living & Selling Workshop
If you are feeling overwhelmed by your house and its contents and just don’t know where to start or are simply looking to update, refresh and add value to your property, then this workshop is for you.
One Day (6 hours total)
Interior Style & Design Trends through the 20th Century Workshop
Take the Journey from the Bohemian 1900’s, through to the radical Art Nouveau movement and the emergence of Modernism. Visit the richly decorative style of the Art Deco period, the optimism and innovation of mid Century design, all the way through to the Swinging Sixties.
